Simone Biles
Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was thought to be one of the sport's greatest athletes. Biles was the only U.S. female gymnast, Biles was one of the few who won four gold medals in one Games at the 2016 Olympics. Biles was also the first person to win three consecutive world championships. Biles was born within Spring Texas, in the Houston metro area. Biles and her sister Adria had been adopted by Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone was first introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her daycare teacher Aimee Borman when she was just six years old. She was a student at Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles was awarded a silver medal in vault in 2010 and a bronze medal at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. Then she moved on to competitions at the elite level in 2011. The following year Biles was the king of the field. Biles stood out for her constant performance her exuberant attitude and the level of challenge she made in each event--vault, uneven bars as well as balance beams and ground exercise.
