Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born South London, England into an ethnically diverse family. She has a father who is Nigerian and Swiss as well as her mother is English. Her family was raised on a south London council estate, and went to The Brit School at age 14. She went to The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in which she earned an acting BA. The stage she appeared in was several productions as a student like King Henry V, as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career by starring in a movie titled Storm Damage. She has since made appearances in Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakthrough came in 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was co-starring Colin Farrell (who played the role of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. Following that she portrayed Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she was a part of Trexx as Ollie and six episodes in Flipside. She was Bambi in The ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe also starred as the main character on How to lose friends & make people feel alienated that was aired by Sony Pictures Entertainment back in 2008. The credits on stage for Madekwe are Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe debuted in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama program ran on The CW for only two episodes, before it was removed from the air. The actress was selected in February 2011 as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe's exit from the series was confirmed in May 2013. After two years as a main character, she made a guest performance in the very first episode of season 3. From 2014 to 2016, she starred in Salem in the role of Tituba. Madekwe, her longtime partner, Iddo, married Madekwe in June of 2012. The two have collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl, and he was also on the show with Madekwe in the television series Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario and was a part of a large family. She joined her parents, Roy and Patty as well as her four brothers: Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley's siblings, who are all athletes, play baseball in summers and played hockey in winters. Ashley didn't walk, instead she would dance. When she was two and a half, she was introduced to Baby Ballet. Ashley was hooked on dance since that time. Ashley was a competitive dancer in all the major categories until the time she graduated from high school. The competitions she participated in included ballet, jazz, tap and pointe, as well as Acrobatics. Every big dance events, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, have awarded her the title "top individualist".
