Lisa Edelstein is an American actress who is best known for her work on House. Fox medical drama, House. When she turned 18, Lisa moved to New York City from Wayne which was where she was affixed to strict Jewish traditions. However, very quickly, she became active in the club scene, making enough splashes that she was noticed by the press, while also becoming conscious of the devastating effects of AIDS. Then, she used her experience and fame, and her own education to write and present a program called Positive Me. Shortly thereafter she landed the job of MTV and was the host of Awake in the Wild Side. After the show was finished it was time to work in movies as well as TV productions. Her first job was in small parts and established herself slowly as an actress.
