Alissa White-Gluz
Alissa White-Gluz was the previous lead vocalist of the metalcore band The Agonist, and the currently the lead singer of Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy. Alissa (born 30 July, 1985) White-Gluz is a Canadian vocalist, famous for her role as the former leader singer and the founding member in The Canadian metalcore band The Agonist in addition to being the lead singer for Swedish popular Death Metal group Arch Enemy. Singing and growling (clean vocals) are a part of her distinctive vocal style. Her main focus is Metalcore and melodic deaths, although she's performed with Nightwish, Tarja Turunen, Delain and Powerwolf. White-Gluz (2004-2014). The year was 2004 and White-Gluz, along with fellow members Danny Marino, Chris Kells created The Agonist from Montreal, Quebec. White-Gluz recorded three albums while she was The lead vocalist of The Agonist. They parted ways the band in early 2014 after she was asked to become the singer of Arch Enemy.
